ദുബൈ: യു.എ.ഇയിൽനിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്കുള്ള സൗജന്യ ലഗേജ് പരിധി 30 കിലോ ആയി പുനഃസ്ഥാപിച്ച് എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ്. നാളെ മുതൽ ടിക്കറ്റ് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് ലഗേജ് 30 കിലോ ഉപയോഗിക്കാനാകും. ട്രാവൽസുകൾക്ക് പങ്കുവെച്ച പോസ്റ്ററിലാണ് എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞമാസമാണ് എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് യു.എ.ഇ-ഇന്ത്യ സെക്ടറിൽ ലഗേജ് പരിധി 20 കിലോ ആയി വെട്ടിച്ചുരുക്കിയത്. ആഗസ്റ്റ് 19 മുതൽ യു.എ.ഇയിൽനിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് വിമാന ടിക്കറ്റ് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്കായിരുന്നു നിയന്ത്രണം. 20 കിലോ ബാഗേജും ഏഴ് കിലോ ഹാൻഡ് ബാഗേജുമാണ് അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നത്.

എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സർവിസ് നടത്തുന്ന കേരള സെക്ടറിലുള്ള മലയാളികൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് ഇത് വൻ തിരിച്ചടിയായിരുന്നു. ഇതിനെതിരെ പാർലമെൻറിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ വൻ പ്രതിഷേധം ഉയർന്നെങ്കിലും നടപടി പിൻവലിക്കാൻ കമ്പനി തയ്യാറായിരുന്നില്ല. സീസൺ സമയങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവാസികളെ കൂടുതൽ ചൂഷണം ചെയ്യാനായിരുന്നു എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് തീരുമാനം. എന്നാൽ, ബാഗേജ് പരിധി കുറച്ചതോടെ യാത്രക്കാർ എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസിനെ കൈവിടുകയും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ബജറ്റ് എയർലൈനായ ഇൻഡിഗോ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള മറ്റ് വിമാനങ്ങളെ ആശ്രയിക്കാനും തുടങ്ങി. ഇതോടെ ലഗേജ് പരിധി പുനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ കമ്പനി നിർബന്ധിതമാവുകയായിരുന്നു.

Malaysia — Malaysia’s Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) recently announced it will provide Pastor Raymond Koh’s family and their lawyers with a new copy of a Special Task Force report on the pastor’s disappearance.

The announcement comes on the heels of a report from Free Malaysia Today stating that the Special Task Force altered the previous report it sent to the family and their lawyers.

The KDN, however, stressed that the original report contained watermarks because it is an official government document subject to the Official Secrets Act 1972 and the Security Directive (Revision and Amendment 2017), but it had not been altered.

“The report submitted to Pastor Koh’s family and lawyers is the original report without changes and printed on watermarked paper,” the KDN said. “The use of watermarked paper is to enable the government to identify the ownership of the document in the event that the document is disseminated.”

The KDN added that the matter has been investigated with the Office of the Chief Government Security Officer of Malaysia (CGSO) to ensure that the security of the Special Task Force report is maintained.

In addition to the claim that the report had been altered, Free Malaysia Today reported that the legal team for the pastor’s family complained in the lawsuit against the government and the police that they could not read portions of the original report.

Last month, Malaysia’s High Court ordered the government to provide Koh’s wife, Susanna Liew, with the task force’s full report.

Liew had filed a lawsuit in 2020 against the police, the inspector-general of police, and several former high-ranking police officers over her husband’s disappearance on Feb. 13, 2017. She seeks to hold the authorities liable for his unlawful abduction and misfeasance in public office. Previously, the government classified the report on Pastor Koh as a state secret.

പാപ്പാ കുറിച്ച പ്രസ്തുത സന്ദേശം ഇപ്രകാരമാണ്:

“നിനക്കു വേണ്ടത് നീ, #പ്രാർത്ഥനയിലൂടെ, ദൈവത്തോട് ചോദിക്കുകയും, നിൻറെയുള്ളിൽ മറ്റ് ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഉയരാൻ തുടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിൻറെതാണ്. അവ നന്മ ചെയ്യാൻ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുകയും ഉപരിയഗാധ സ്നേഹത്തിലേക്ക് ആകർഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ദൈവം നമ്മോട് സംഭാഷണത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുകയും യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ പ്രാധാനമായ കാര്യത്തിൽ, അതായത്, ജീവൻ ദാനമായി നല്കുക എന്നതിൽ, പക്വത പ്രാപിക്കാൻ നമ്മെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
