ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനോടുള്ള തീക്ഷ്ണമായ സ്നേഹത്തിലാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ സമാധാനവും വിശ്രമവും ലഭിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ദി പെന്തെക്കോസ്ത് മിഷൻ ചീഫ് പാസ്റ്റർ ഏബ്രഹാം മാത്യു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ചെന്നൈ താമ്പരത്തിനടുത്ത് ഇരുമ്പല്ലിയൂർ കൺവെൻഷൻ ഗ്രൗണ്ടിൽ നടന്ന രാജ്യാന്തര കൺവെൻഷന്റെ സമാപനദിന സംയുക്ത ആരാധനയിൽ പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
മനുഷ്യന്റെ കുറവുകൾ പരിഗണിക്കാതെയാണ് ദൈവം നിരന്തരം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതെന്നും, ആ സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ തണലിലാണ് മനുഷ്യന് ആത്യന്തിക സമാധാനം ലഭിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പാസ്റ്റർ എം. ടി. തോമസിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെയാണ് സംയുക്ത ആരാധന ആരംഭിച്ചത്. വിവിധ ഭാഷകളിൽ മിഷൻ പ്രവർത്തകർ ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചു.
വൈകിട്ട് നടന്ന പ്രത്യേക രോഗശാന്തി ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ പാസ്റ്റർ എസ്. ഏബ്രഹാം (അഡയാർ) പ്രസംഗിച്ചു. കൺവെൻഷനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് സ്തോത്രാരാധന, ബൈബിൾ ക്ലാസുകൾ, പൊതുയോഗങ്ങൾ, ഉണർവ് യോഗങ്ങൾ, യുവജനസമ്മേളനങ്ങൾ, സുവിശേഷപ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ, അനുഭവസാക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ, സ്നാന ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ എന്നിവ നടന്നു.

മാർച്ച് 16-ന് നടന്ന വാർഷിക ജനറൽ ബോഡി യോഗത്തിൽ പുതിയ ശുശ്രൂഷകരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. 20 പേരെ ബ്രദർമാരായും 55 പേരെ സിസ്റ്റർമാരായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തപ്പോൾ, 37 പേർക്ക് പാസ്റ്റർമാരായി സ്ഥാനക്കയറ്റം നൽകി. കേരളം ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ളതും വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ളതുമായ ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വിശ്വാസികൾ കൺവെൻഷനിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

മൂന്നാം ദിന സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ അസോസിയേറ്റ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ചീഫ് പാസ്റ്റർ ജി. ജെയം, യേശുക്രിസ്തു മനുഷ്യരെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ച് ആത്മീയ സമൃദ്ധി നൽകാനാണ് ഭൂമിയിൽ വന്നതെന്ന് പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. വിശ്വാസികൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പാത പിന്തുടർന്ന് ആത്മീയ ചൈതന്യത്തിലേക്ക് ലോകത്തെ നയിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

കൺവെൻഷന്റെ നാലാം ദിന യോഗത്തിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ച ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ചീഫ് പാസ്റ്റർ എം. ടി. തോമസ്, ഭൗതിക നേട്ടങ്ങൾക്കായി വിശ്വാസികൾ ആത്മീയ ജീവിതശൈലി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുതെന്ന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു. ദൈവഭക്തിയോടെയുള്ള ജീവിതമാണ് ക്രൈസ്തവരുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനമെന്നും, ഭൗതിക നേട്ടങ്ങൾ അതിനൊപ്പം സ്വാഭാവികമായി ലഭിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
കൺവെൻഷൻ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പുലർച്ചെ മുതൽ രാത്രി വരെ വിവിധ ആത്മീയ പരിപാടികൾ നടന്നു. സ്തോത്രാരാധന, ബൈബിൾ ക്ലാസുകൾ, പൊതുയോഗങ്ങൾ, കാത്തിരിപ്പുയോഗങ്ങൾ, യുവജനസമ്മേളനങ്ങൾ, സംഗീതശുശ്രൂഷകൾ, സുവിശേഷപ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ, രോഗശാന്തി ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ എന്നിവയിൽ വിശ്വാസികൾ സജീവമായി പങ്കെടുത്തു.
തമിഴ്നാട് സർക്കാർ പ്രത്യേക വാഹന സൗകര്യവും ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു. കൺവെൻഷൻ കാലയളവിൽ 24 മണിക്കൂറും ഉപവാസ പ്രാർത്ഥനയും നടന്നു. കുട്ടികൾക്കായി പ്രത്യേക ആത്മീയ പരിപാടികളും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.

The Pentecost Mission Chief Pastor Abraham Mathew stated that true peace and rest are found in God’s intense love for man. He was speaking at the joint worship service on the closing day of the international convention held at the Irumpalliyur Convention Ground near Tambaram, Chennai.
He explained that God loves constantly, regardless of human shortcomings, and it is in the shade of that love that man finds ultimate peace. The joint worship service began with a prayer by Pastor M. T. Thomas. Mission workers sang songs in various languages.
Pastor S. Abraham (Adyar) spoke at the special healing service held in the evening. Praise worship, Bible classes, general meetings, revival meetings, youth gatherings, gospel sermons, testimonies and baptism services were held in connection with the convention. Books & Literature
Deputy Chief Pastor M. T. Thomas, Associate Deputy Chief Pastor G. Jayam, Pastor S. Rajendran (Malaysia), and Pastor P. Mathew John (U.S.) delivered sermons on various days. The sermons were translated into various regional languages in real time.
New ministers were elected at the annual general body meeting held on March 16. While 20 were elected as brothers and 55 as sisters, 37 were promoted as pastors. More than one lakh believers from various states of India including Kerala and foreign countries attended the convention.
“Eternal solution to sorrows in Christ” — S. Rajendran
Pastor S. Rajendran (Malaysia), who spoke on the opening day of the convention, explained that there is an eternal solution to man’s temporary and eternal sorrows in Christ.
Spiritual Perfection through God’s Grace: P. Mathew John
Pastor P. Matthew John (U.S.) called for spiritual perfection through faith.
“Jesus Christ for an Abundant Life” — G. Jayam
During the third day of the conference, Associate Deputy Chief Pastor G. Jayam stated that Jesus Christ came to earth to save people from sins and give them spiritual prosperity. He said that believers should follow the path of Christ and lead the world to spiritual vitality.
Do not give up spiritual life: M. T. Thomas
Deputy Chief Pastor M. T. Thomas, who spoke at the fourth day of the convention, called on believers not to give up their spiritual lifestyle for material gains. He said that a life of godliness is the foundation of Christians, and material gains will come naturally with it.
Various spiritual programs were held from dawn to night during the convention days. Believers actively participated in praise worship, Bible classes, public meetings, waiting meetings, youth gatherings, musical services, gospel sermons, and healing services.
The Tamil Nadu government also arranged special transportation facilities. A 24-hour fasting and prayer service was held during the convention period. Special spiritual programs were also organized for children.

പ്രവാസി ക്ഷേമനിധിയിൽ അംഗമാകുന്നതിനുള്ള പ്രായപരിധി 70 വയസ്സായി ഉയർത്തണമെന്നും നാട്ടിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തുന്ന പ്രവാസികൾക്ക് സംരംഭങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിന് സഹായധനം നൽകണമെന്നും വിവിധ കാരണങ്ങളാൽ ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ അവ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള വ്യവസ്ഥകളിൽ ആവശ്യമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്തണമെന്നും യോഗത്തിൽ ആവശ്യമുയർന്നു.

The Kerala Assembly Committee on the Welfare of Non-Resident Keralites will take measures to help ordinary people quickly contact Indian embassies, committee members have said.

A meeting of the Legislative Assembly Committee on the Welfare of Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) has decided to set up a system to enable ordinary people to contact Indian embassies quickly.
Collector M S Madhavikutty informed the committee that measures will be taken to swiftly dispose of applications related to Aadhaar cards, electoral identity cards and similar documents during the short periods when NRIs visit home on vacation.
Representatives from various NRI organisations raised complaints at the meeting regarding issues such as suspended Pravasi Welfare Fund pension payments, delays in receiving pensions and the non-time-bound processing of applications for welfare fund membership.
In the meeting, representatives of various expatriate organizations raised grievances related to issues related to non-payment of expatriate welfare fund pension, delay in receiving pension and non-settlement of applications for welfare fund membership in a time-bound manner. The representatives of the expatriate organizations demanded an increase in the existing medical assistance of Rs 50,000 under the Norka Santhanam scheme and timely release of medical assistance and post-mortem assistance.
