A galaxy of business honchos, bureaucrats, diplomats and members from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) came under one roof at the Asian Arab Business Forum 2024, on a Thursday evening, to explore new avenues of international cooperation and strengthen economic ties between Asia, the Arab world and other global regions.

The Asian Arab Business Forum 2024, first of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman, hosted by the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Indian Economic Trade Organisation (IETO) at the sprawling auditorium of the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS) in Muscat, set a significant milestone in strengthening economic ties between Asia, the Arab world, and other regions.

With distinguished dignitaries in attendance, including Nasima bint Yahya Al Balushi, Director General of Invest Oman, Her Excellency Noralizan Abdul Momin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Asif Iqbal, Global President of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Santosh Geever, the newly appointed Chairman of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Elias Nikolakopoulos, Honorary Consul of Greece to the Sultanate of Oman.
