Airlines allowed to carry Indians holding visit visas on flights to UAE
Dubai:Indians with valid visas to the United Arab Emirates will likely be able to travel there soon as per the special arrangements that India is working out with several countries. Pavan Kapoor, Indian Ambassador to the UAE, tweeted on the same, stating that a decision to this effect has been taken by the MHA (Union Home Ministry) in India, and that a formal notification will be issued by the Indian Aviation Ministry in the next few days.
Referring to this, Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri recently said that air bubbles are being worked out with some neighbouring countries so as to enable continuity of travel to other countries.
Ambassador Kapoor also stated that since the UAE has recently started issuing new visas, and that they have recommended to authorities in India to consider allowing Indians with valid visas to travel to the UAE.
Dubai is one of the most favoured tourist destinations for Indian travellers, which is now conditionally open for tourists. Regarding the rules that one needs to bear in mind while travelling to the UAE as per the Emirates website, they should be— all passengers arriving in Dubai from any destination, including those connecting in Dubai, must show a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate to be accepted on the flight. Also, the test must have been taken a maximum of 96 hours before departure.
Reportedly, the UAE government has set up specified designated laboratories. Anyone flying from India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, you must get your certificate from one of these labs, and it is likely that you might have to take another COVID-19 PCR test on arrival. Also, if you take a test at the airport, you will have to be in your hotel or residence until you receive the test result.
Then, if the test result comes positive, you will have to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines. You will also be required to download the COVID-19 – DXB Smart App, as per the Emirates website, which states this is also one of the current entry requirements to Dubai.

മദ്രാസ് ഹൈക്കോടതി ഉത്തരവുപ്രകാരം മേയ് ഏഴുമുതൽ ജൂൺ 30 വരെയാണ് ഇ-പാസ് പ്രാബല്യത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പുറത്തുനിന്ന് വരുന്നവർക്ക് ഇ-പാസ് നിർബന്ധമാണ്. ഓരോദിവസവും നിശ്ചിത എണ്ണം വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് മാത്രമേ പാസ് അനുവദിക്കയുള്ളൂ. മേയ് പത്തുമുതൽ 20വരെ നടക്കുന്ന ഊട്ടി പുഷ്പമേള മുൻനിർത്തിയാണ് നടപടി.
ഊട്ടിയിലേക്കും, കൊടൈക്കനാലിലേക്കും ഉള്ള റോഡുകളിൽ ഉൾകൊള്ളാവുന്നതിലും അധികം വാഹനങ്ങൾ ആണ് സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്നത് എന്ന് മദ്രാസ് ഹൈക്കോടതി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയിരുന്നു. പ്രതിദിനം 20000 ത്തിൽ അധികം വാഹനങ്ങൾ ആണ് നീലഗിരിയിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നത്. ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് സീസണുകളിൽ പ്രതിദിനം ശരാശരി 11509 കാറുകൾ, 1341 വാനുകൾ, 637 ബസുകൾ, 6524 ഇരു ചക്ര വാഹനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയാണ് നീലഗിരിയിൽ എത്തുന്നത് എന്നും ഹൈക്കോടതി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ഇത് ഭയാനകമായ അവസ്ഥ ആണെന്ന് ജസ്റ്റിസ് മാരായ എൻ സതീഷ് കുമാർ, ഡി ഭാരത ചക്രവർത്തി എന്നിവർ പുറപ്പടിവിച്ച ഉത്തരവിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ആനത്താരകളിലൂടെയാണ് റോഡുകൾ കടന്ന് പോകുന്നത്. വാഹങ്ങങ്ങളുടെ ബാഹുല്യം കാരണം പലപ്പോഴും കാടിന് ഉള്ളിലെ റോഡുകളിൽ ഗതാഗത കുരുക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നു. വാഹനങ്ങൾ നിരയായി മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം കിടക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ഏറ്റവും അധികം ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്നത് മൃഗങ്ങൾ ആണെന്നും മദ്രാസ് ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടെ ഉത്തരവിൽ വിശദീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മേയ് 13ന് നാഗപട്ടണം തുറമുഖത്തുനിന്നാണ് കപ്പല്‍ പുറപ്പെടുക. ഇതിനു മുന്നോടിയായി മേയ് പത്തിന് കപ്പല്‍ നാഗപട്ടണം തുറമുഖത്ത് നങ്കൂരമിടും. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 14-ന് നാഗപട്ടണം തുറമുഖത്തുനിന്നാണ് സര്‍വീസ് തുടങ്ങിയത്. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍നിന്ന് വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സിലൂടെയാണ് അന്ന് കപ്പല്‍ സര്‍വീസ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. എന്നാല്‍, പിന്നീട് കനത്ത മഴയെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് സര്‍വീസ് നിര്‍ത്തിവെയ്ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
അന്തമാനില്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ച ‘ശിവഗംഗ’ കപ്പലാണ് ശ്രീലങ്ക സര്‍വീസിനായി ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുക. താഴത്തെ ഡെക്കില്‍ 133 സീറ്റും മുകളിലത്തെ ഡെക്കില്‍ 25 സീറ്റും ഉണ്ടാകും. നാഗപട്ടണത്തുനിന്ന് കാങ്കേശന്‍ തുറയിലേക്കുള്ള 60 നോട്ടിക്കല്‍ മൈല്‍ താണ്ടാന്‍ ഏകദേശം മൂന്നര മണിക്കൂര്‍ സമയമെടുക്കും.
ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെയും ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കുറഞ്ഞ ചെലവില്‍ യാത്രചെയ്യാന്‍ കപ്പല്‍ സര്‍വീസ് അവസരമൊരുക്കും. 5000 രൂപ മുതല്‍ 7000 രൂപവരെയാണ് ടിക്കറ്റ് നിരക്ക്. ശ്രീലങ്കയിലേക്ക് യാത്രചെയ്യാന്‍ ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും പാസ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട് മാത്രം മതിയാകും. നാഗപട്ടണം തുറമുഖത്തെ പാസഞ്ചര്‍ ടെര്‍മിനലില്‍ നിന്ന് ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുക്കാം.
