Kid Rock Shares About Jesus as Millions Tune in to TPUSA’s ‘All American Halftime’ Super Bowl Show
Millions of Americans turned the channel during Super Bowl LX to watch Turning Point USA’s alternative “All American Halftime Show” as the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks faced off on Sunday. More than 19 million streamed the show on YouTube, with 2 million more watching on Rumble, not to mention all the viewers watching across other platforms.
In the game itself, the Seattle Seahawks used a crushing defense to defeat the New England Patriots, 29-13, capturing their second NFL championship in the club’s history.
Many people were upset that the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime show on February 8 would star Bad Bunny, a music artist known for flaunting sexuality who once dressed in drag during the Grammy Awards.
Christian sports commentator Jon Root panned the Bad Bunny performance, pointing out, “Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime performance was pure filth… According to the Apple Music set list, he sang a song called, ‘Safaera’, which means debauchery in Puerto Rican slang. The translation of the lyrics to the English are so incredibly vile, profanely describing…debaucherous actions. During this song, two men were grinding on each other on screen. Shame on you, NFL for promoting this.”
To provide a more patriotic, family-friendly alternative, TPUSA provided a lineup of four performers:
Kid Rock
Brantley Gilbert
Lee Brice
Gabby Barrett
“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said beforehand.
During the show, Kid Rock challenged the TPUSA viewers to pick up their Bibles and give their hearts to Jesus Christ.
“There’s a book sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off. There’s a Man who died for all our sins, hanging from a cross. You can give your life to Jesus, and He’ll give you a second chance…” the rock star sang.
While many people recognize Kid Rock, the other three artists are country singers who might be less famous, but they are each known to be devoted Christians.
Brantley Gilbert frequently incorporates his faith into his music and public life. He often discusses how his faith in God is a major part of his life and songwriting, as well as his role as a husband and father.
He wrote on X when he released his album “Tattoos” that the songs “highlight everything from my faith to my family to everyday life and give a snapshot as to where I am right now as a husband, a father, and just a man.”
One example of his faith-based content is his song “My Faith In You,” where he refers to reading the Bible: “That’s why I’m thumbing through these pages, They say the answers are in red… And I’m still asking You for help, Because Lord I just can’t help myself…”
Gabby Barrett is an outspoken Christian who seeks to put her faith, family, and a Godly marriage first, before her career. She released a Christian single called “Jesus on a Train,” and often shares how her beliefs guide her life.
Barrett told Taste of Country that being a Christian is her primary identity, stating, “I fell in love with country music, but being a Christian is my identity. My identity is in Jesus. And so that changes everything.”
And finally, Lee Brice also calls himself a “follower of King Jesus” and urges fans to find a Bible-believing church.
Brice holds a special connection to TPUSA after he wrote a tribute to Charlie Kirk in the wake of his assassination. Here’s that song, which talks about “some iron nails and a wooden cross,” and it’s all about The Kingdom of God coming to earth.

“Now I believe!” – Czech fighter says Israel brought him closer to God
Tel Aviv was the scene last week not only of a historic exhibition of martial arts, but of a dramatic declaration of faith that brought many in the Israeli crowd to their feet.
The Gordon Fight Nights (GFN 1) event saw Israeli phenom siblings Ahavat Hashem Gordon, Ruach Hashem Gordon, and Kibedy Gordon notch impressive victories again international opponents.
The fan favorite of the night, however, was undoubtedly Czech fighter Radek Štádler.
Štádler, a two-time kickboxing world champion, did not fight well and lost his match against the Israeli Zohar Hayut. But his post-match remarks sparked the loudest applause of the evening.
The Czech apologized to the crowd for fighting poorly, but went on to thank Israel for giving him something far more precious than a victory in the ring: faith.
Štádler stressed that before coming to Israel, “I was an atheist. But you took me to Shiloh and to Jerusalem, and I see the path that Jesus took, and now I believe!”
“Thank you, I love you guys!” he said as the crowd erupted.

Justin Bieber Used the Biggest Stage Ever to Worship God with ‘Everything Hallelujah’ at World Cup Final
Justin Bieber didn’t use his brief moment on the world’s biggest stage to sing one of his pop hits. He used it to worship.
An estimated 1.5 to 2 billion people watched the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19. And during the first-ever halftime show at a FIFA World Cup final—held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey—the Canadian singer appeared on stage with just an acoustic guitar to perform “Everything Hallelujah.”
It was a decision that surprised millions of viewers who had expected to hear some of his biggest hits, such as “Baby,” “Sorry,” or “Love Yourself.”
During the performance, Bieber altered the song’s final verses, replacing the original lyrics with the phrase, “It’s the World Cup, hallelujah.”
A song born of faith
“Everything Hallelujah” is a Gospel-soul track released in September 2025 on Bieber’s album *Swag II*. Its lyrics list the things he is grateful for, with each item followed by the word “hallelujah.” In the song, Justin gives thanks for the little things in daily life and for the most important people in his world—his wife Hailey, his son Jack, and his parents—as well as for simple moments like walking, swimming, and appreciating nature.
With a message centered on faith, hope, and gratitude, “Everything Hallelujah” is considered one of the most personal songs of the Canadian singer’s recent era. Since the release of *Swag II* in 2025, Bieber has explored themes linked to spirituality and personal growth.
The song had already caught the attention of the Christian community prior to the World Cup, securing a spot in the top 10 of Billboard’s Christian songs chart and debuting at number one on the Christian Streaming Songs chart.
A moment no one expected
Bieber shared the 11-minute show with Madonna, Shakira, and BTS, marking the first musical performance during the halftime break of a World Cup final. Even so, it was his performance that sparked the most conversation—not because of visual effects or hit songs, but because of the deliberate simplicity of a man with a guitar and a song of praise before billions of people.
For the Church, the moment carries weight that goes beyond mere entertainment. With the world’s eyes fixed on the most-watched stage in history, Justin Bieber chose to say “Hallelujah.”

Lionel Messi and Argentina fell short in Sunday’s World Cup final, and the legendary soccer star looked on at the crowd for what could be his final time. He sat on the field after the loss, watching as Spain celebrated, taking it all in.
And with that, it’s likely the last time Messi will take part in a World Cup as a player on the Argentina National Team.
Messi let the tears fall after receiving his second-place medal. The moment was captured by cameras that followed one of the best players ever to play the game.
The 2026 World Cup marked Messi’s sixth, tying the records for the most tournaments played in men’s soccer history. He also made history, becoming the first man to start in three World Cup finals. And with that, this World Cup was his most productive, as he finished with eight goals and four assists.
Is a retirement announcement coming soon? Signs are certainly pointing in that direction.
“Your tears are our tears, Captain You gave us the greatest joys of our lives. Thank you for the dedication, for the magic, and for giving it your all until the very last second We love you forever, Leo!,” the Argentina National team shared.
“Lionel Messi in tears is such a sad sight. Contemplating the defeat? Contemplating the end of his international career? He’s brought such joy to the world of football. Too many of his team-mates were poor, too set on spoiling, but that cannot mask what Messi has done this World Cup. And previous tournaments. Legend,” journalist Henry Winter posted.
“Lionel Messi crying. You have to think that is it for him with Argentina. An incredible 20 year careee with the Argentina national team. The trophies won are there for all to see. Thank you for the memories, the moments, everything,” journalist Roy Nemer wrote.
“The best to ever do it. If this was Messi’s final FIFA World Cup, thank you for all the magic,” FOX Sports said.
“Honestly 2022 is what we asked for and Messi delivered 2026 is when none of us had any expectations and Messi exceeded those expectations and made us believe. Leo Messi from the bottom of my heart thank you for this,” a fan expressed.
“Dear Messi, Thanks for giving us a childhood, a million highlights, and endless debates. Football was simply better because you were in it. Forever the GOAT,” another fan commented.
“Messi it’s been a pleasure. By far the best player ever. You’ve dragged and carried this average team over and over again. 20 years being the best in the world. Thanks for everything,” one fan stated.
